Mr. Harrigan’s Phone

🤔- Too many cooks ruin a stew

Mr. Harrigan’s Phone

Here we have an example of too many good cooks can ruin a stew. Mr. Harrigan’s phone was written by Stephen King, produced by Ryan Murphy, and directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind side and Saving Mrs. banks) …So what could go wrong? right? Well apparently, a lot. I really wanted to enjoy this movie, but it was like a bad date, starts out great and interesting, goes great, he walks you to his door and “boom” No kiss, just walks off without any explanation and doesn’t call you back, so your left wondering what happened, and you know you will never get an answer. Yeah…that’s ethe best way I can describe this film. If you like your mystery’s solved, then I warn you this is not the film for you. Its main plot has no explanation to it (Yes that bad). Great acting, wonderful direction and great build up, but that’s it. It falls flat. Problem is who is to blame? Kings story? Hancock’s direction? Or Murphy’s decisions? Guess I will never know.
